Rita Ora (British singer-songwriter) is her name. Rita Sahatciu Ora was born in 1990 in Pristina (Kosovo) to Vera (Bajraktari), and Besnik Sahatciu. Besim Sahatciu is the granddaughter of her mother. When she was just one, her family took the decision to relocate to England. Her home was West London. She attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School, Earls Court. After that she was able to graduate from Sylvia Young Theatre School followed by St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing from a young age. In 2004, she was a part of the British movie Spivs. After a successful audition for Eurovision The Country That needs You (BBC One) She was selected to represent the United Kingdom in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Ora began singing in bars in London. A few days later, Ora flew to New York to meet Jay-Z, an A&R informed Roc Nation about Ora. Ora was featured in Jay-Z's 2009 video for "Young Forever" as well as "Over" from Drake. Jay-Z took note of Ora and shrewdly signed her up with Roc Nation. She was the subject of a commercial featuring Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. Her father Besnik was a pub owner and she began her singing shows from the same pub. Gwen Stefani is a major influence on her character. She also credits her father Besnik who was the owner of a pub. Kate Moss, Ed Sheeran as well as their friends.
