Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo has been nominated for the
Golden Globe as a stage, TV and film actor. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and
born in New Jersey, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University. The
film featured her in Coyote Ugly's breakthrough role in 2000. Since then, she's
been in movies such as Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" with Hugh
Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and
"First Snow" which starred Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen"
films with Steve Martin, "Imagine Me and You" featuring Lena Heady
and Matthew Goode and the crime drama "10th and Wolf" with an
ensemble cast including James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. She was also a part of
the cast with Bruce Willis (with Joseph Gordon Levitt), Emily Blunt, and Jeff Daniels
in Rian John's sci-fi action film "Looper". In the television world,
Perabo played Annie Walker in all 5 seasons of USA Network's spy drama
"Covert Affairs." After that, Perabo starred as Annie Walker on USA
Network's spy show "Covert Affairs." "And she will next appear
on Netflix in "Turn Up Charlie" co-starring Idris Elba. Perabo also
made her Broadway debut in Neil LaBute's controversial play "Reasons to be
Pretty" that she nominated for the Tony Award for the Best Play. Perabo is
an activist as well as her screen and stage work. Perabo is an International
Rescue Committee Voice to bring awareness to those who have been displaced by
war, persecution or political oppression. Piper lives in Los Angeles and New
York City. She graduated from Toms River High School North in 1994. She was in
all four school musicals. The year she was in senior high school she was Katie
in "Meet Me In St. Louis;" junior year, Cousin Fan in
"Mame;" sophomore year, Lady Brighton in "Me and My Girl""
and , in her freshman year, she was a dancer in "How to be Successful in
Business Without Really Trying." In high school, she served as the
president of the National Honor Society and the editor of the school's literary
magazine, Polaris. She was also a Marinerettes dancer during high school
football games.
