Julia (Karin), a gorgeous, dark and gorgeous British actress and social activist, was born January 4 1965 in Surrey. She was the second of five children. Born of privilege as the daughter of a wealthy laboratory technician Her parents divorced when she was just a little girl. Julia attended Cranleigh High School as well as Guildford High School Both private schools. She was interested in theater performing in two of their musicals. Julia was born into a family of artists. She was initially aspiring to become an artist. But, she discovered her passion for acting after completing one year of art school. In 1988, she graduated from Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Appearing in the play "Wuthering Heights" as Catherine She met and eventually married her Heathcliff (actor Rory Edwards) in real life. She was awarded the London Drama Critic's Award in 1989 for her performance as Faith, Hope and Charity's "best newcomer" Julia had a huge impact on TV as she portrayed young addict on the TV show Traffik (1989). The actress gained attention for her performance in the TV-movie Young Catherine (1991), in which she portrayed Catherine the Great (also with husband Edwards). In the TV movie Stalin (1992), she played Nadya the wife of Catherine. Robert Duvall was the main actor. In 1993 she made her feature film debut opposite Ralph Fiennes in The Baby of Macon (1993), which was a drama about an unborn woman who gives birth to an "immaculate child". This was followed by roles as lead or second in films like the European biopic Nostradamus (1994) and the romantic comedy Captives (1996), co-starring Tim Roth, and the period war drama Legends of the Fall (94). She was also the object of Brad Pitt's affection and Aidan Quinn's love. The marriage ended in 1994, right when she started her acting career.
