Adam G. Sevani Bio

Adam G. Sevani is an American actor and dancer well-known for his character Robert Alexander III (or "Moose") in Step Up (film series). Sevani was born in Los Angeles, California and started dancing from a young age at the Synthesis Dance Center, the dance studio that was founded by his parents. Sevani is of Armenian and Italian origin. His elder brother, V Sevani (aka Vahe Sevani) was a member of the Boy Band NLT. Sevani was featured in music videos, such as Mase's "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" and Will Smith's "Switch" and T-Pain's "Church" and a little part in the NLT's "That Girl." He also created choreography for NLT's music video "Karma." In February 2008, Sevani appeared in the Touchstone Pictures dance drama film Step Up 2: The Streets The Streets, the sequel of the Step Up film series. The film focused on the students of a school who join together to form a dance team and battle in the streets. Sevani's portrayal of Robert "Moose" Alexander III was highly praised by critics like The New York Times, for playing a character that "might be the worst geek in film history". Sevani, Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore were confirmed to star in the American remake (Laughing Out Loud) of 2008 French film LOL. The film focuses on Cyrus's character finishing her final year at high school. The film was released in May of 2012. received only a limited US release and received a negative review from critics.
