Samara Weaving Bio

Samara Weaving was born in Adelaide, South Australia on February 23rd in 1992. She was a teenager for the next several years, shifting from Singapore, Fiji and Indonesia to Australia with her family. She was a student at the primary school in Jakarta in Indonesia and later attended Pittwater House School in Australia. In 2004, she enrolled in the Canberra Girls Grammar School. It's no surprise that she has spent many hours performing in stage plays as well as short films and dance. She also appeared with the Singapore Dance Company, Canberra Youth Theatre as well as other theatre groups. The actress was cast in 2008 as Kirsten Mulroney in the title of a BBC series. While it was just one season, it was the capacity of 129 episodes. Samara appeared in 48 episodes. The exposure led to her next major role as Indi Walker on the Australian soap show Home and Away (1988) where she was featured in over 300 episodes. Families are always a plus regardless of the successes. Samara was able to get her first big part in Mystery Road (2013), which starred Hugo Weaving, her uncle. Then, she starred in the TV film Squirrel Boys (2015), and followed it up with a role that was prominent in Monster Trucks (2016) (2015) with veteran actors Rob Lowe and Danny Glover. Bonds is an Australian underwear company, also makes use of Samara as an actress.
